Fidel, seguro, a los yankees dale duro

“Fidel, for sure hit the Yankees hard!”

This is one of the popular chants from the 1960’s during the early years of Fidel Castro’s 23 year leadership. One place that it is documents is in this speech from 1960. Castro tended to refer to Americans as Yankees in a derogatory way.
